East Terminal
Port Panama City recognized the space limitations of the West Terminal and subsequently initiated expansion efforts to accommodate long-term growth initiatives. This included the purchase of 43 acres of land from WestRock to begin Phase One construction of the East Terminal which included a 900 LF bulkhead refurbishment, 260,000 SF on-port warehouse, rail and road access. This $66 million investment commenced operations in February 2020.
